About the Role
Malta International Airport plc is looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about working with people within an Airport environment, is willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Marketing & Communications Department.
Purpose of Position:
To support and contribute to the development and execution of the Company’s marketing strategy, campaigns, and brand initiatives, while ensuring consistent brand positioning, effective communication, and high-quality delivery across all marketing activities and platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of the Company’s Brand and Marketing Strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Assist in the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness, enhancing visitor experience, and driving engagement and footfall.
Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of the annual Marketing Plan, supporting campaign rollouts and activations.
Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to develop marketing collateral, including advertising, print materials, and digital assets.
Support the management of social media platforms and contribute to the development of content strategies to enhance online presence and engagement.
Monitor marketing performance using analytics tools (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.), providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company events, activations, press conferences, and corporate initiatives.
Support the organisation of corporate events including stakeholder engagements, internal events, and Corporate Responsibility activities.
Manage logistics related to filming, photography, and campaign production requirements.
Ensure effective cross-departmental communication to align marketing initiatives with operational objectives and ensure smooth execution.
Liaise with relevant departments (e.g. IT, Customer Service, Operations) to support updates across platforms such as wayfinding systems and customer touchpoints.
Contribute to market research activities, gathering insights to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the development and promotion of all Company brands and sub-brands, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.
Assist in the management of customer feedback across various channels, ensuring timely responses and coordination with relevant departments where required.
Support the preparation and delivery of corporate publications such as annual reports, newsletters, and sustainability communications.
Promote a positive image of the Company at all times and ensure brand standards are upheld across all touchpoints.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in marketing processes, brand visibility, and customer experience.
