This shall be achieved by implementing engineering maintenance routines such as break-down maintenance repairs, total productive maintenance methodology and other structured engineering support tools. Main missions: Before and after machine intervention, updates the machine status using OFX system and informs team leaders of status Completes work docets associated systems for ease of breakdown reporting and logging of faults Embraces the principles of Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance and the need for Continuous Improvement Ensure that repairs and maintenance is carried out to highest quality, within the shortest time frame and right first time Ensures a safe and healthy workplace, including the promotion of the environmental, health and safety standards, integrated management systems and any other relevant initatives Need to be able to read and interpret schematic and genearl arrangement diagrams as per specialistion field Needs to ensure all necessary permits to work are in place before and after working in a particular area Takes part in the installation of equipment and infrastructural systems Work involves handling of 20kg loads and working at heights ABOUT YOU Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MQF 4 level in mechanical/electrical or any other engineering field or higher Wireman’s electrical License A and B would be considered an asset Education and/or Experience 2+ years Experience in similar role in the manufacturing industry; Capable to work under pressure and independently; Effective leadership skills; Flexible to respond to production needs; Proven fault-finding capabilities, in all fields of mechanical, electrical & electronics; Strong written and spoken communication skills Language Skills Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing. Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc. Language proficiency: English C1 or higher. Computer Skills Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employee works primarily in an a shop floor environment, within a well ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels. May be exposed and/or work with chemicals as listed in our MSDS book. Is required to work on a rotational shift (4 shift basis) Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required.
