About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Environmental Technician will perform a variety of duties involving removal, transportation, loading, and disposal of all types of asbestos materials and other hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work within duties and requirements of the Company Management Plan.
Collection and packaging of waste from different waste generators.
Dismantling, packaging of waste and decontamination of related areas.
Proper use and maintenance of personal protection and decontamination equipment.
Loading of waste onto containers in preparation for shipment.
Proper labelling of waste and containers.
Collection of consumables required for use on site operations.
Proper use of company vehicles and equipment.
Any other tasks that may be required for the day-to-day operations of the company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & ATTRIBUTES:
Good level of spoken English
Preference will be given to candidates who hold any of the following:
Valid Maltese or EU Category B Driving License
Forklift Driving License
Cherry picker License
