About the Role
The Network Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of customer network environments as part of BMIT’s managed services portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring the stability, security, and performance of customer LAN, WAN, firewall, wireless, and cloud network infrastructures. Working closely with Solution Architects, Service Delivery teams, and customers, the engineer delivers reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Network Operations
Onboard, administer, and perform day‑to‑day operational tasks on customer network environments, both on‑premise and cloud‑based.
Manage and support customer firewalls, LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and network security components.
Network Deployment & Maintenance
Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and wireless access points.
Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and service enhancements to ensure continued reliability and performance.
