Your Role As a Customer Care Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, ensuring they receive professional, efficient, and friendly assistance throughout their Homemate journey. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting customers with enquiries relating to products, purchases, company procedures, and store policies. Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate departments. Creating and maintaining customer accounts for special orders by accurately recording client information. Processing customer deposits and payments for ordered and purchased items. Managing returns, exchanges, warranty claims, and repair requests by: Listening carefully to customer concerns. Identifying the root cause of issues. Providing the most appropriate solutions. Coordinating corrective actions with relevant departments. Following up to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Processing FlexiPay contracts accurately and efficiently. Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a seamless customer experience. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions. Remains calm, professional, and positive, even in challenging situations. Has strong organisational and administrative abilities with excellent attention to detail. Works well independently and as part of a team. Has previous customer service or retail experience (preferred but not essential). Working Hours & Flexibility This position operates on a rotating shift schedule and includes: Evening shifts up to 8:00 PM. Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
