Delivery Person

Hudson Group is an international retailer and distributor primarily involved in the sport and fashion wear sectors. The Group’s head office is in Malta but is also present through offices in Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Morocco, Nigeria and Algeria. Role purpose The Delivery Person is to take over from the delivery coordinator and deliver stock and paperwork to clients. The person will be the main reference person to represent the company professionally with clients. The key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: Liaise with the Delivery Coordinator Checks the stock that has been prepared by the Delivery Coordinator in line with the paperwork and what needs to be delivered Stocks the van correctly in the order of how the boxes will be delivered Ensures no mixing boxes of different clients Drives to clients in a timely manner Follow routes and time schedule Ensure loading, unloading, preparation, inspection and operation with a delivery vehicle is carried out in a proper manner Deal with external issues such as traffic and parking Unloads the boxes to the shop personnel and provides the paperwork Complies with the shop personnel and check the stock as it is on paper Gather the signatures of shop personnel and keep the right paperwork needed Assist with any work required in the warehouse on an ad hoc basis Follow all health and safety regulations and safety standards Core competencies, knowledge, and experience Proven working experience Valid professional driver’s license type B Ability to operate forklifts in a variety of weather and traffic conditions Excellent organizational and time management skills MATSEC Certification Recruitment Privacy Policy Sourced from Hudson Holdings.
