About the Role
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Complete all emergency repairs in properties as assigned by the Projects & Facilities Manager or Property Administrator
Perform preventative maintenance in properties as assigned by the Projects & Facilities Manager or Property Administrator.
Perform minor electrical installations and repairs. Candidate must have a good working knowledge of electrical installations and be able to work in a safe manner. Possession of wireman licence “A” would be considered an asset.
Perform minor plumbing installations and repairs.
Carry out general maintenance to building fabric.
Carry out small gypsum works, plastering and painting.
Conduct fixture and furniture assembly, installations and minor carpentry work.
Moving furniture and equipment, whilst maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Be able to purchase the required materials to tackle the assigned jobs.
Candidate must have a clean and valid driving licence.
Candidate must be available after normal working hours to work on an on-call schedule.
Candidate must be able to work on own initiative and possess good troubleshooting capabilities.
Key performance indicators:
The main KPIs are derived from the CMMS system Upkeep and mainly centred on issue response and resolution time.
