Financial Regulatory Analyst

Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and analytical Analyst to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about financial data, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement, and who wishes to contribute to the success of a growing digital bank. As a Significant Institution under the direct supervision of the European Central Bank, supported by a Joint Supervisory Team comprising representatives from the ECB, the National Bank of Belgium, and the Malta Financial Services Authority, maintaining the highest standards of financial and regulatory reporting is critical to our regulatory obligations and strategic decision-making. The Finance Analyst will play an important role in the preparation and validation of financial, operational, and risk-related information used for internal management reporting, Group reporting, and regulatory submissions. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and reconciling data from multiple sources, supporting the production of accurate and timely reports, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of reporting processes, controls, and documentation. This role is ideally suited to an individual with strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and an interest in developing a career in finance, accounting, data analysis, and regulatory reporting within the banking and financial services sector. Key Responsibilities Gather and consolidate data from across the Group and prepare reports in accordance with established procedures, reporting schedules and agreed deadlines Verify collated data through predefined controls and ongoing monitoring to ensure the dataset is accurate and complete Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory requirements and reporting guidance, ensuring all submissions comply with instructions issued by the Creditas Group and applicable regulatory standards Maintain and update documentation related to reporting processes, internal procedures and regulation interpretations Liaise effectively with internal teams across the bank, colleagues within the Creditas Group, software vendors, and regulatory authorities as required Support management and other stakeholders with ad hoc data requests and analysis Assist with testing activities associated with enhancements and upgrades to banking and reporting systems, helping to ensure a smooth implementation process Requirements & Qualifications Professional accounting qualification or university degree relevant to the financial services industry Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Power Query, Python or SQL will be considered an asset Effective written and verbal communication abilities Unquestionable integrity and ethical standards Meticulous attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams while maintaining productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors Sourced from MeDirect Bank.
