Compliance Analyst (Residing / Located in Malta / Hold an EU Passport) Overview: To assist the Compliance Manager to ensure Compliance with all Applicable Regulations. Responsibilities: Assist in the Bank's Compliance Obligations to the Various Laws, Rules and Regulations, including Banking Support in the Maintenance, Improvement and Introduction of Controls to Mitigate Compliance Risks. Support Compliance Monitoring and Testing and Analysis of the results identifying any Deficiencies. Escalate appropriate concerns to the Compliance Manager. Assisting in the Implementation of New Tests and/or Reviews. Support the Bank in maintaining a sound Compliance Framework, including an up-to-date Compliance Register. Work to achieve increased Compliance Awareness and maintain a strong Compliance Culture across the Organisation. Assist generally the Compliance Manager, including with ad-hoc projects or tasks as required. Skills & Experience: Banking and/or Finance and/or Law related Qualification from a Reputable European University or Equivalent. Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in a Similar Role. Good Knowledge of Maltese and European Banking Legislation including Banking Rules. Strong Organizational Abilities. Ability to Work under Pressure. Being Meticulous and Attentive to Detail.
