About the Role
Junior Customer Communications Officer / Credit Cards (Currently Resident in Malta or Hold an EU Passport) *Fluent in German & English
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Customer Communications Officer to join our Credit Cards Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Business Compliance and Customer Communications, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day review, coordination and management of Customer Communications, Advertising and Marketing Materials relating to our Credit Card Product.
The role will act as an important First-Line Review and Quality Control Function, ensuring that Customer-Facing Materials and Information are accurate, complete, consistent and in line with established Internal Standards and Processes before being submitted for further review and approval by the relevant second-line Compliance Function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Professional looking to Develop experience in Customer Communications, Marketing Governance, Financial Services and Customer Journey Controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communications Review
Carry out the initial review of customer communications, advertisements, promotional materials and marketing campaigns against established internal guidelines and approval requirements.
Check that customer and product information is accurate, complete, consistent and up to date, and appropriate for the relevant stage of the customer journey.
Identify missing information, discrepancies, inconsistencies or potential issues, and coordinate amendments with relevant stakeholders.
Work closely with Marketing, Customer Experience and other business teams to coordinate communications across relevant channels, including digital, email, website and social media.
Maintain accurate records of communications reviewed and approved, monitor outstanding actions, and help ensure that only appropriately approved materials are published or distributed.
Escalate potential concerns or unusual matters and support the Senior Manager and second-line Compliance team with reporting, documentation and the ongoing maintenance of effective communication controls.
Skills & Experience:
A qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, Law or another relevant field.
Previous experience in marketing, communications, financial services or an administrative role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Fluent in German
The ability to review written material and customer information carefully and identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
The ability to work collaboratively with different teams and manage multiple deadlines.
An interest in customer communications, customer journeys, marketing governance and the financial services industry.
A strong sense of responsibility for ensuring that accurate and appropriate information reaches the customer.

This is a Junior First-Line Role and does not carry responsibility for providing Independent Regulatory Advice or making Final Compliance Determinations.
The role supports the Initial Review, Quality Control and Effective Governance of Customer Communications and Customer-Facing Information, with relevant materials and matters subject to further review by the appropriate Second-Line Compliance Function.
