Demand Planner

SASMAR is seeking a dedicated Demand Planner to join our vibrant team in Ta' Xbiex, Malta. As a leader in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in personal care and fertility products, including our well-regarded Conceive Plus brand, we distribute our products across more than 70 countries through a network of pharmacies, hospitals, supermarkets, and clinics. In the role of Demand Planner, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of demand forecasting, optimizing inventory levels, and enhancing our supply chain processes to meet customer needs effectively. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align demand planning with promotional and marketing strategies. Analyze and monitor demand patterns to identify trends and improve forecasting accuracy. Work closely with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels. Support the creation of inventory management strategies that align supply with demand effectively. Evaluate and adjust forecasts regularly to reflect changes in demand, lead times, and business dynamics. Prepare and present demand forecasts and recommendations to senior management for decision-making. Utilize forecasting software and tools to enhance precision in demand planning. Participate in sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings to facilitate collaboration between different departments. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel. Familiarity with demand planning software and ERP systems, including ODOO ERP. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Eligible to work in Malta. Prior experience in a relevant product or industry environment, such as pharmaceuticals, personal care, FMCG, or internationally distributed products, is a plus.
