About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and talented individual, who thrives working within a dynamic team, to join our Supply Chain Department in the role of Storekeeper.
The aim of the Storekeeper is to support in the smooth and efficient running of the Warehousing section within the Supply Chain department.
Duties include:
• Check incoming goods are of the right quantity and description as per Main Stores Requisition
• Inform relevant departments of any discrepancies in incoming goods
• Perform issues of stock items ensuring the right quantity and description
• Input correct data re receipts and issues affected
• Ensure that stock levels of all items are kept at specified quantities
• Perform the necessary Stock-taking duties at the required intervals
• Ensure Stores are kept in a clean, tidy and safe manner at all times
• Operate machinery (e.g. fork-lifter) ensuring it is kept in good condition
• Issue and receive sub-contracted work to third parties
• Supports finished goods and WIP daily stock takes when necessary
Requirements:
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar post
• In possession of an MQF Level 3 qualification or equivalent
• Computer literate, including a good command of Microsoft Office programs
• Basic mathematics knowledge
• Able to read and write in English
• In possession of Driving License B, and preferably also Driving License C1.
