Technician - Maintenance

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a primary focus on plant utilities to ensure the reliable operation of critical services supporting our plastics manufacturing operations based in Zejtun, Malta. The role will also provide maintenance support to injection moulding machines and associated auxiliary equipment when required. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on plant utility systems including chillers, AHUs, PAUs, and water pumps. Carry out preventative and planned maintenance on plant utilities to ensure reliable operation and support production processes. Monitor and maintain cooling and air handling systems critical to injection moulding operations. Support troubleshooting and maintenance of injection moulding machines, robots, and hopper dryers when required. Respond to breakdowns and technical issues related to plant utilities and production equipment. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and company procedures. Requirements Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent 5 years experience. Experience maintaining industrial plant utilities such as chillers, air handling systems, pumps, or compressed air systems. Basic knowledge of injection moulding or manufacturing equipment is considered an asset. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills in mechanical and/or electrical systems.
